Hein founded APPSolve in 2002. He holds a BCom Informatics degree and is DBA OCP qualified. He has 18 years DBA experience, two of which he spent working in the U.K. Hein specialises in performance tuning and technical architecture. As MD, he focuses on service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Andre founded APPSolve's Application Developer division. Previously worked as a professional engineer and management consultant, he has a passion for effective business processes. Andre specialises in banking integration and high-volume integration solutions. He is a certified Oracle DBA and Applications Developer.
Jeanette holds LL.B (UJ) and Hdip Tax(UNISA) degrees. She is also an admitted legal practitioner with experience in dispute resolution and Labour and Employment Law. Jeanette also holds a certificate for Women in Leadership (USB)
In 2015, APPSolve tested the internship waters and hired its first junior Oracleresource. Maureen Grosvenor, APPSolve Director and Chief Strategy Officer explains“With very little experience but the right attitude, this intern has gone on to achievingmultiple Oracle certifications and has a number of successful Oracle EBS and Fusionprojects under his belt. This was a resounding success and we decided to pursue thisfurther in 2017”.
APPSolve decided to become part of the Oracle Partner Campus Programme. Theintention behind the Oracle Partner Campus Learnership Programme is to buildOracle Skills within South Africa from an Entry Level Perspective that will allow for aFuture Skills Pipeline for Oracle and its Partner Community. This Programme is aninvestment for both Oracle and the partner community and is intended to address theskills shortage within South Africa as well as create sustainable employment foryoung South Africans. The target is to implement an all inclusive programme of 65Learners for 2017. Grosvenor continues “APPSolve took on two learners thisyear. We were specifically looking at the development stream and placed them atstrategic customers. We have senior resources working on projects here and,together with the customer, could mentor the leaners as they received on-the-jobtraining in both technical and business areas”.
